Helping female leaders build confidence for the next step in their careers.
Ishwariya Rajamohan FRSA offers leadership development coaching and training to support female leaders with building the confidence to take the next step in their careers: thus paving the way for gender equity and better representation of women in leadership in our workplaces. Struggling with confidence is a vulnerability that is not easy for women to reveal, particularly when working in male-dominated environments and industries owing to the immense pressure they face to ‘look the part’.
Through coaching, Ishwariya has supported women in leadership to thrive in roles that challenge and fulfil them through overcoming a variety of challenges that arise from struggles with confidence:
– when they have encountered overwhelm and imposter syndrome when offered a promotion or a major project;
– when they have struggled to assert their leadership or have begun to mistrust their own decision-making abilities, thus impacting their productivity and – that of the team;
– when they have felt frustrated or stagnant in their careers, but struggle to put themselves forward for a promotion, thus impacting retention;
– when they have been prone to burnout from feeling pressured to prove themselves and their capabilities;
– when their physical and mental well being have taken a toll from work-related stress creeping into their personal lives;
– when they have struggled to advocate for their own needs, or ask for support with a task or project, even when it would help to improve their performance.
Ishwariya’s coaching style has been described as calm and gentle, and her coachees deeply appreciate the space she is able to hold for them to regain their confidence. She gently guides them on designing and achieving their vision for their careers, while also challenging them to step out of their comfort zone and overcome perceived limitations. In addition, her intuitive gifts allow her to bring deeper awareness to a session: coachees get to see not only what is getting in their way, but also who they can truly be.
