
Experienced Performance Coach, compassionately supporting you to break through limiting beliefs and reach full potential
I first experienced the power that a non-judgemental, listening space could have when I was given a Coach as part of my development as a Graduate Trainee, many moons ago. I was in awe at the amazing personal development and leadership resources at my fingertips. Given because someone believed in my performance and potential as future leader. With the support of these resources, and applying them in these highly complex and often political settings, I learned how to successfully negotiate my way up. I also successfully supported many others to navigate these complex professional and personal situations. However, throughout my career, I went onto witness how such opportunities aren’t given out equally – but that they should be. And could be – if only people knew who and how to ask.
It’s this early industry experience was motivated to study for 2 years alongside my full-time, senior Marketing work to gain my Executive Coaching qualification and accreditation with the Association for Coaching. I then began coaching internally at the BBC alongside my Marketing roles, supporting both emergent and established leaders to be their fully-integrated selves at work and flourish.
This was over 10 years ago. Today, I take private clients alongside Marketing work, as the two complement each other incredibly well. Both involve creating an image or ‘product’, managing it or redefining it – so that it works for you. I combine this with my passion for promoting greater Diversity and Inclusion through greater access for everyone. It’s why I specialise in particularly supporting people of colour, women, LGBTQ+ communities and other under-represented people to take ownership of their path, in a way that’s authentic to them. I often Coach all members of a team, at all levels. Some of the results of working with me include people being promoted and given substantial pay rises (when there’s been stagnation for many years), writing books, moving industries or simply redefining personal relationship boundaries that they weren’t able to. As a senior Marketing and Organisational Change Director I’ve been leading large, diverse and multi-sited teams across complex cultures like the BBC, Boots the Chemist, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Charities, as well as Agency side and Start-Ups. But it’s having led in several Diversity and Inclusion roles that’s given me the greatest passion for personally and professionally developing people to integrate the whole of themselves into whatever they do. Because if you’re able to be fully integrated as a person, then you’re better able to access all of your power, potential, see all your possibilities. Resulting in happier and more fulfilled people.
Seeing this growth in the teams that I line managed is why I retrained. Today, I’m an accredited Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching and have over a decade of accredited coaching hours. I combine my extensive, industry leadership experience along with an intuitive style that considers the whole-person, to most effectively support you through a period of change, complexity or just add clarity – quickly.
